Brocade Switch 3250 not booting


I have a brocade silkwork switch 3250 which gives the following error.

The system is coming up .....

1. Start System

2. Recover password

3. Enter Command Shell

When giving the option one the following details I got

Option? 1
Booting "Manually selected OS" image.
Entry point at 0x00800000 ...

Linux/PPC load:
BootROM command line: quiet
Uncompressing Linux...done.
Now booting the kernel

The system is coming up, please wait...

1) Start system.
2) Recover password.
3) Enter command shell.

When I gave the hinv and printenv command the following details I got

What should I do to resolve the problem ? Any help would be appreacited.

Hi R.Rajesh,

I'd try and boot from alternative location, choosing "3" in the menu and then typing this at the > prompt, to start with:

> boot MEM()0xFFF80000

You might also want to tweak values in both OSLoader and OSRootPartition.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Linar,

I tried in both the ways what you have given. but no success.

Any other configuration.

Any other  way to upload the FAB OS in the flash memory of the Brocade Switch.
