Hi Team,
Please help me with this situation.
I have a VM hba which is connected to brocade 48k. It is zoned with a clariion but the wwpns are not showing up in clariion.
When i checked in the name server it shows the VM hba is in domain 44 where all other hbas are in domain 41.
Is it the problem why the hba is not showing in clariion?

--->>>in domain 44 where all other hbas are in domain 41
show to me as you have TWO switch, the one with DID 41, and the other one with DID 44
are all HBA connected to the Brocade 48000 ?

with the Brocade 48K there are two blade center switches connected. they are having domain ids 44 and 45 respecitively. the VM is connected to the blade center switch 44.
the port is online but still it is not showing up in clariion.

that answer why the HBA show in DID 44 and not in 41 where is the 48000.
btw.
I assume the HBA you mention here are the Mezzanine Board from Blade Center ?

is there any way we can check from the switch that the host hba is working fine ?
when i checked in the switch the port to which the host hba is connected is showing as online.

If you have any doubt about the config, the simple way is to use SAN Health
http://www.brocade.com/services-support/drivers-downloads/san-health-diagnostics/index.page
when you get the report back, you have vilibility to all connected Switches HBA and Storage
