Brocade 300 No Boot

[ Edited ]

We have a Brocade 300 blade switch that won't boot. All LED's are red.

This is after a chassis shutdown.

When we look at the bootup we get this:

Fabric OS (SW)

It is impossible to issue any command like supportsave.

Is there a way to repair this Bad Data CRC?

Thank you for your help

Re: Brocade 300 No Boot

error in boot order, stay indicated a Issue caused by wrong FOS Release, and/or interrupted firmwaredownload.

can you please specified both, Release bevore upgrade, and the Release you want to install ?

Re: Brocade 300 No Boot

Thanks for your help.

This occurred after a power cycle, not a firmware update.

The switch was operating ok before the power cycle.

Do you know a way to repair the fabric OS?

Re: Brocade 300 No Boot

If a Partion is corrupted or Compact Flash defective, there is no way to recovery or re-install the FOS, or replace teh Compact Flash.

in such case you must open a call with the Support for replacement with you Vendor / OEM if the Switch is under maintenance.
