Re: Address Error on E-port

Hi,

according to instructions provided by Biju this is definitely not the fault of SFP module or cable - there are no "enc out" and "crc err" errors at all, and "Lr_out" and "Ols_in" values are equal.

And that "Address error" still worries me...

Re: Address Error on E-port

Hi,

the link error may be there for a simple reason that, host reboot or switch port enable disable, so first clear the error with portstatsclear and then see porterrshow, portstatsshow and see the value of link related ar eincreasing or not. also see portstatsshow and still the address value is increasing or not.if not then you do not have to be worried.

Re: Address Error on E-port

Hi Hemant,

"Address Error" is constant and it's value is always equal "1" on both E-ports.

Re: Address Error on E-port

Hi ,

No need to be worried. I just saw same type errors on my core 48Ks' E-ports, but I cleared these with portstatsclear and it is cleared now. But atleast after ur mail, I saw it.No need to be worried.
