24000 CP0 v4.4.0e CP1 v5.0

Hi, This is the case.

CP1 Active, CP0 failed, No Sync, No Telnet Commands, M14_2_cp1:admin> slotshow               
                                        
Unable to retrieve slot information(-21), No addreshow. CP0 on Slot 5 Faulty. M14_2_cp1:admin> hashow                 
Local CP (Slot 6, CP1): Active       
Remote CP (Slot 5, CP0): Standby, Unknown
HA disabled.

CP0 Was replaced, but arrived with v4.4.0e. M14_2_cp1:admin> firwarereshow
Local CP (Slot 6, CP1): Active, Remote CP (Slot 5, CP0): Standby

M14_2_cp1:admin> hashow                   
Local CP (Slot 6, CP1): Active            
Remote CP (Slot 5, CP0): Standby, Healthy 
HA disabled

Telnet to CP1 is not working.

Question is  how can I get Sync both CPs ??

Is HA disable because we have diferent levels of code ??

Do I need update CP0 first ?? and then they will get in Sync automatically ??

when any CP was Replace, beore your can do any Command or Operation,.....

Login Local into NEW CP with Serial Cable , and check whit ipaddrshow command the IP Address from NEW CP, you have to set whit ipaddrset  a NEW IP Address in same range as the other CP and Switch.

the your can continue with other operation, OS Upgrade and so on...

Hi, Thanks, now IP is working. Next question is should we need update the code manually ?? I mean, upgrade CP0 by -s parameter ?? Then run manually command to get Sync ?? or what is the best option to get both CPs on Sync ?? Being in this status.
