how to update symantec policy by using cmd

as we all know, symantec server can set up many policy , but there is one problem i met, every i changed on the server  i have to click "update policy" manually on the client,is there any way i can update policy by using cmd?

Yes. Open a cmd and type smc -updateconfig

• smc -updateconfig
Updates the configuration of the Client by forcing a heartbeat, thus pulling the latest configuration from the Management Server.
This does not always change the "last check-in time" displayed in the SEPM console -- that value changes only when a client's status changes.
Heartbeats do not necessarily cause a status change, so the value of this may not always change.

to forceful update the config use the command above, else client will check with SEPM on its heartbeat to get the new policy, there is no manual intervention needed.

You need to make your clients in PUSH mode to have the policy immediately.
