Hi.

I'd like to know:

1) wich are the differences between SBS cloud and Endpoinp Protection.cloud

2) if the SBS cloud offers the same level of protection of the "old" SEP 12.x (only on premise)

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, all documents show as < 250

So, I would say go with black and white.

Jul 14, 2016 02:31 AM

Can you provide a link to this documentation as the current docs suggest 2-250 seats.

Jul 14, 2016 02:08 AM

Symantec Endpoint Protection.cloud can support 1,000 maximum seats per organization

Couple of additional features to call out aside from Windows 8 support on the cloud deployment

  • USB Device Control: USB device control can enable administrators to set a read-only, block or allow policy for USB storage devices (for example, memory sticks, removable hard disks, iPods, and more) for different groups. USB devices without any storage capability (e.g., USB mouse, etc.) should not be impacted by this setting. This is available in the cloud-managed service only.
  • Local Update Service: Benefit from bandwidth optimization when accessing security updates with the local update service (cloud-managed service only).

Windows 8 is supported by Symantec.cloud.

Check the below Screenshot:

Symantec Endpoint Protection.cloud does not include mobile security.

However, in reference to the Mobile Security, you may like to check this Thread:
