I’m having trouble with deploying an image from Ghost.

I’m using Ghost solution suite 3.3 update 7

I’ve recently done a new image with Windows 10 21H2 in order to update our Office Computers.

The deployment of this new image works as it should on the PCs with the image from last year. But if I want to reimage a PC I’ve just imaged with this new image, now it says: Unable to Boot to Windows automation. No matter what image I use.

I’ve uninstalled and redeployed the automation folder, no difference.

On the Client side I see the machine rebooting, going to the Windows login screen and switching to "other user", then restart, but in the middle of POST, when it is supposed to boot from PXE it reboots and goes back to Windows.

If, however I start the deployment job and I manually go to the machine, press F12 to get the boot menu and select PXE manually it works and the image is deployed.

What could be the Problem here?

I Solved it.

for those coming here with the same question:

turns out for whatever reaons my Automation Folder was corrupt.
I recreated a new WinPE10x64 via the Boot disk creator, uninstalled the old one from my clients and deployed the new one.

now everything works as it should.
