 Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable EOL

The current version of Symantec VIP Desktop (2.2.5.81) software installs Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable which has reached EOL as of 2023. Is there a timeline on when VIP will be able to work without the 2012 redistributable?

Hi Dylan,

A release is in the works and is tentatively scheduled for the end of August. It will be available for download from https://vip.symantec.com and https://manager.vip.symantec.com.
