Subject: Modifying the Nice Value of sisamddaemon
I am using the following version of SEP Client for Linux:
Version: 14.3RU5 14.3.3082.5000
When I checked with top, the Nice value of sisamddaemon was -4.
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
1889 root 16 -4 1461480 90256 45940 S 0.3 0.6 51:33.37 sisamddaemon
I have a program that I want to prioritize higher than sisamddaemon, and I would like to change the Nice value. Is there a way to change it? (I am considering changing it from -4 to 1).
Also, if I change it, will there be any impact?
The Nice value setting seems to be configured in the following file, and I am guessing that I can change the Nice value in this file:
/etc/systemd/system/sisamddaemon.service
