Hi Mike,
The way I test is by creating a sub-group "pilot" for a specific group.
* It will inherit all parents policies
* I then duplicate a specific policy that I want to test and apply it only to "pilot"
It's a bit tedious, but it's the only way to target a specific machine in a group without too much trouble
There is also another option, with the location awareness feature (now called policy target rule). It will apply a specific set of policies based on specific criterias.
You can for example, create a location "pilot" and set a criteria if a machine has a specific registry key (eg. HKLM\Software\YourCompanyName\pilot DWORD)
This way, the policy will be downloaded by all clients, and applied only based on your criteria.
Same things, it's a bit long to setup, but once it is, you just have to change a registry key on a machine to test your changes
Hope it helps

Subject: Manage devices on the cloud
I have groups of devices..
I was hoping there's a way to manage 1 PC or 1 group of PCs on the cloud (for testing) before i flip the switch to manage all devices from the cloud.
is there a way to do that?
Thank you!
