    Hi Experts,
    Anyone tried installation already, and faces an extremely slow installation time? (8 hours and still not even at 50%).

    Hi Hagai,

    We've performed upgrades on several installations, Server 2016 and 2019.

    I've seen incredible slowness on the Server 2016 upgrades, but 2019 seems fine.
    My observations were that MSIEXEC was launched, and shown in the log, there then seemed to be a delay of at least 20 minutes (for every msi) where MSIEXEC was maxing out one core, and using 30-50 MB ram, but didn't appear to be actually doing anything (no files / folders changed).
    No errors or warnings in Altiris Log Viewer, or in Event log. It's almost as if it was trying to perform checks on something, but wasn't reporting what, and eventually gave up.
