  • 1.  Failure in upgrading DLP agent from v15 to v16

    Hi All, 


    Ran the DLP v16 upgrade batch file on a machine running DLP v15 and it just ran successfully and that's it. 

    Rebooted the system and waited for 30 mins and the client is still showing connected to the old dlp server. 

    Is there any particular process to upgrade the dlp agent or its a must to uninstall the old one and then install the new one?

    Hi Alex,

    I believe we are talking about 2 Endpoint Detection servers here. AFAIK in this case, you will have to create a new agent package and execute install_agent.bat file instead of upgrade_agent.bat.

    Even if it doesn't work, uninstall/reinstall would be your next option.
