Dual CEM Servers

We are wanting to have dual CEM servers for failover purposes should one server go down.  Are there any restrictions in doing so or special steps to consider?

Hello Misty,

Having 2 CEM Gateway servers is definitely recommended.  There's not any restrictions, and the second should be setup in a similar manner to the first with the same SMP's and Site Servers in both Gateway's.

Hi,

we have several Customers running with more than 1 CEM Gateway. Either behind a Load Balancer with the same Certificate, or seperate with unique certs, hostnames and listings in the CEM Settings Policy.
No Problems at all, and like Roy said, they are setup nearly identical.
