DLP Endpoint Prevent Detection.

Hi Team,

Need advice on DLP Detection,

When i type Credit Card number on the Outlook, it detects and prevent it.

But when i type credit card number in the GMAIL, it's not detecting and pass through.

Can anyone advice please?

We need more information about your use case. It likely depends on whether the correct data channels are being monitored.

Are you using Microsoft Outlook the desktop application vs Gmail as internet based mail?

For example, it's likely the agent has been configured to monitor the outlook email client, but you may need to enable the Web channels to monitor Gmail communication. See the image as an example. 

There could be other factors such as domain filters being applied, but the above configuration is a good starting point to review.
