  • Carbon Black Cloud API Deactivation Schedule – 2024

    If you are using any of the following APIs, you must update before they are deactivated on July 31st or October 31st of 2024. 

    Information on how to migrate to new APIs, Forwarder versions and API Access Levels is available on the Developer Network in the API and Schema Migration Guide

    On July 31st 2024 the following APIs will be deactivated.  No data will be returned. 

    • Alerts v6 API 
    • Data Forwarder Config v1 
    • Devices v3 REST API 
    • Live Response v3 API 
    • Enriched Events Search API 
    • Policy v3 REST API 
    • Process Search Suggestions v1 
    • GET Process Search Validation v1 
    • Sensor Update Services v2 API 

    On July 31st 2024 the following Data Forwarder versions will be deactivated.  Any forwarders with this configuration will be disabled. No data will be returned. 

    • Alerts Forwarder v1 Schema 

    On October 31st 2024 the following API will be deactivated.  No data will be returned. 

    • Notifications v3 API 

    On October 31st 2024 the following API Access Levels will be deactivated.  Authentication will fail. 

    • API: This will cause Audit Log requests to fail if they have not been updated to a Custom API Key.  API signature change is not required. 
    • LIVE_RESPONSE 

     

    The API and Schema Migration Guides  have detailed information on the replacement APIs and changes required.
