Hi Jason,
How would one change the status of the process after all sub tasks has completed. I have implemented this in a test environment and run through all the tasks successfully, bust after the request is completed the status changes to Exception and not closed. Is there a way I can close this request?
Best Regards,
Rufus Swart.
Yes we can confirm that the steps provided in these videos also function in SD 7.5 SP1. Your table is going to be named after your custom data object that you created. Depending on if you put capital letters in the name of your object the system will insert "_" underscores to represent spaces. So if you called it IMExtended the table will normally be called im_extended.
Thanks for the videos.
I have a question, I have followed all 4 videos and created it in my test environment, I can log the request and all the fulfillment tasks runs successfully. I can also edit the request before approving it and all the data is present, however I can't find the table in my database. what may I be missing?
Can you confirm that the above functions in 7.5 SP1?
Dear All,
I have a solution to the issue I posted above. I am currently trying to get it published onto Connect and is in the hands of the reviewers. If you need this before then, please PM me.
Jason,
This is an excellent template for those new to WF and also those more experienced people who can learn from the Best Practices that you have posted.
However, I have been having troubles with the workflow when it runs as a Service Request in Workflow 7.5 (as included with SMP 7.5). It always asks to authenticate the user (which is annoying, as they are already in the Process Manager.
I have had a look at the differences between the same Authentication components and settings in SD 7.5 and they seem to be different objects, with different parameters. Also, I did find this Connect Discussion:
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/process-manager-login-component-problem
Where the user had the problem. I am not sure if they fixed it - there was a user that mentioned a fix of changing the Cookie Name to be LB_ENSEMBLE, but ths was not marked as a solution and I have tried it and it did not change anything.
I would really like to fix this for me and for others if possible.

Thanks, this help me to undestand the purpose of the profile definition. And also to create another service for the Catalogue service.. I used Servicedesk 7.1 sp2 and works fine.
