    Greetings Osama,
    • Check the Windows Event Logs to see if the errors give you a clue when you attempt to start the service.
    • The default user for the Symantec Data Center Security Manager service is "Local System account".
    • Check the service account: Has the password expired on the service account, is the account disabled? Windows Security logs should show if there is a problem with the service account.

    Enable DCS Management Server debugging:
    1. Open the Start Menu -> Symantec Data Center Security Server -> Right-click "Run as Administrator" -> Server Configuration Wizard
    2. Click Next, Click Next again to get to the "Server Settings"
    3. Under "Log Settings" ->
    4. check box "Set server logs to TRACE level"
    5. check box "Set database logs to TRACE level"
    6. Click Next
    7. Click Configure

    Attempt to Start the service.
    • Review the server log: Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Data Center Security Server\Server\tomcat\logs\sis-server.0.log
    • Review the database log: Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Data Center Security Server\Server\tomcat\logs\sis-database.0.log

    When reviewing these logs start at the very bottom and work you way up.

    Let us know what you find.
