  • 1.  CPU high usage after upgrading to 14.3 RU3 (Cloud only)

    Hi Team

    I have two topics but all related to an issue with SES 14.3 RU3

    A customer with less than 100 users is using SES (CLOUD ONLY) since a year ago without problems, but with the 14.3 RU3 suddenly the use of resources changed and suffered an increased on several Servers (using same policies prior the upgrade).

    For troubleshooting, Technical Support asked about how many SEPM I´m using so it seems that the support handbook is not updated for SES, after clarifying that the suggestion was to uninstall IPS if it´s installed.

    The issue is happening with the following .exe from Symantec

    ccSVCHst.exe 

    sepWscSvc64 

    I´ll run the procedure suggested by Technical Support but it´s weird that prior the upgrade we didn´t have issues and know we just need to uninstall features to figure out which one is failing.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Orionx, 

    Component isolation is key to finding out what component of the product is causing the issue. How high is the CPU?

    After finding the component causing the CPU Spike you would then want to collect the following data:
