Hi dear braodcom and symantec employees,

There will be a feature or development about Symantec Email Security.Cloud end-users quarantine logins. As you know and also as i see that end-users have to create a password for login purposes. Customers sometimes wonder about that there will come windows user authentication talent to login ES cloud quarantine ? Do you think this development will be in ESC for the future as an enhancement.

I think you are asking "when can I use my windows credentials to login to Quarantine?", and if that is true then you already can. This is what we refer to as "Federated Login" and requires some set up by your organisation. That setup is described here - Federation and Single Sign-on for the ClientNet Portal. The document relates to the ClientNet portal, but after those steps are complete the same mechanism means that users will be able to login to the Quarantine portal using their windows credentials.

    Hi dear Martin,

Yes indeed. But as i see ClientNet Portal SSO wants to create an user and password one time at least. I mean, endusers password informations could get from an LDAP connection as it is on Symantec Messaging Gateway ? They want to skip user and password creation section.

I wasn't aware that you are using SMG. I am an Email cloud specialist, so can't comment specifically about that products features, sorry. However, Quarantine is integrated with the Broadcom SSO solution, and if federation is set up between that an a customer IDP then users can login to Quarantine directly using their IDP credentials with no prior setup from the user.
