  • 1.  Encryption of DLP incidents in DB

    Posted Jun 11, 2021 05:02 AM
    Hello all
For audit reasons I need to provide evidence that DLP (15.7) encrypts incident data when storing it into the Oracle DB. I cannot find really any clear and official statements from Broadcom/Symantec that in fact data is encrypted. And I can also not find what kind of algorithm is used for encryption.
I would appreciate any hints on this.
    Thanks
    André

    Thanks Muhammad. Very much appreciated.
I was already aware of the first link. There is some valuable Information in the second. But I'm really wondering, why Broadcom doesn't describe that part of their solution in some official document/Manual. I need to gather some good evidence. Not sure if community posts will satisfy the Control.
    Best regards
