  • 1.  How many SEPM servers can be in a group at one time?

I have a group of four SEPM servers (ver. 14.3) utilizing one high availability external database. I would like to replace all four servers by adding new servers to the group and re-prioritizing the group so the new servers are at the higher priority. Then, eventually as clients move to the new SEPM servers we will then remove the old servers from the group. I am having a hard time finding the documentation stating the maximum SEPM server group size.  Can I had four more servers to the group (8 total), or only one at a time?  For example, Add one new SEPM, so there are a total is 5 SEPMs in the group, wait for clients to update and connect to the new server, then remove the old server.  I have only seen comments that they think 5 SEPM servers in a group is the max.

5 SEPMs per site is our recommendation. I have seen customers have up to 12 though.  As you are going to be decommissioning your older servers I don't think you would have issues with more than 5 short term.
