    For your information. When we installed, as an update, the SEP 14.3 RU1_MP1 over the 14.3 RU1- it erased all exceptions previously listed. If we had known this before I might not have upgraded as that then causes problems with programs we use for various reasons and now the exceptions have to be recreated and new installs of the software that Symantec has made a mess of.  Even then Symantec immediately picks up on reboot some of the exception items and I have to go thru an unnecessary process. This has never-ever been the case for any update for the more than 20 years I have used Symantec for clients.



    Broadcom needs to fix this or at least inform their customers of the risks.
