Mac OS Symantec extension warning

Hi,

SEP clients with Mac OS keep getting this warning.
Will there be an update from Symantec for SEP for the Mac OS update ?
How do we resolve this warning ?

This happened pre Catalina, too.  Before Big Sur is released, I'm sure there will be a new SEP/SEPM version to upgrade to.

How frequent are these pop-up warnings?

Apple shows this warning every 30 days. RU1 will have a system extension and replaces the old kernel extension.

Will the current version of SEP work on Macs running Big Sur? Or do we have to wait until 14.3 RU1  comes out? Just trying to lay out our upcoming plans for Mac users.

14.3 RU1 will be the first version offering support for Big Sur.

Is there a subscription or link where we can get notified of when the client is released?  I show 14.3 Build 82 on our Mac's currently.   Haver told users to not upgrade to Big Sur,    Will clients be upgraded automatically, or will a new download need to be done and manually run on clients?

We are recently migrated from the old Symantec Cloud portal, the I think it's called SES.

Thats at least the first error from current clients.

Ok. So once 14.3 RU1 is available for SES it will depend on how you have your System Policy configured for Auto-Upgrades.  If set to Latest Release then your clients will get the build automatically.

Actually, it looks like Auto-upgrade is for Windows Only. So you would need to deploy the new package via another means once it becomes available.

I made a mistake regarding SES Cloud 14.3 RU1 for Mac. ETA is late December/ early January at this time.  You could run on prem 14.3 RU1 once that releases late November though.

Curious - Big Sur was in beta for long.  Why did Symantec do a testing all along that a version could have been released alongside the BigSur release.

Ajay, with each beta cycle, we found defects which can be either OS or in our code. Once we get the released version, we start our persistency tests. Just like any OS, patch or application releases, this takes time before releasing.

Hello,

Is there a confirmed release date for 14.3 RU 1. Currently we are facing multiple and frequent MAC OS crash issues which are linked to SEP 14.2 
Mac endpoints with SEP 14.3.510 are stable. Is this a known issue with SEP ?

Will this issue be fixed in 14.3 RU1 ?
