CAS/MAA Upgrade Path

Hi All

Kindly, if I am upgrading content analysis/MAA from version (2.2.X.X) to the last version (3.X.X.X). What is the suitable path?
Ans please guide me through out the installation steps too.

Hi ITA ISD,

The Content Analysis Release Notes will have the information you need. I have attached them here, but you can also find the respective release notes in the Downloads Portal with the system images.

The upgrade path and upgrade procedure start on page 3. Upgrade path is 2.2.x.x -> 2.3.5.1 or later -> 3.0.1

Please note that while upgrading to 3.x is recommended, it is a one way upgrade, and so you can't just upgrade it on a box to try for a day and then downgrade back to 2.x.x.x. Downgrades to 2.x.x.x are not supported and will require a factory default.
