Roll back options - SEP

Hi All,

Apart from uninstall and reinstall(manually). Is there any other alternative option to roll back to previously installed version ?

For an instance I have an machine with SEP 14.3 RU9 for some reason I wanted to downgrade the version to 14.3 RU8. So is there any script to push or any policy to configure or any other options available in console to roll back to previously installed version ?

Hello! Vivek

For product version downgrade, there's no alternative methods available other than remove and reinstall. Rollback options is ONLY available for contents/updates received through LiveUpdate. 

For eg., if there's a latest set of definitions or engine updates that caused an issue/conflict on the client computers OR you want to test the new engine updates on test environment before the content releases into production, those can be achieved through policy.

Thanks Rajesh, Exactly we dont have any roll back option in place. We are expecting such feature to be added in Symantec.
