  • 1.  Unable to De-Crypt drive

    I'm running Encryption Desktop version 10.3.2 on Windows 10. It's worked well until now. I suddenly can find no way to decrypt my drive. I've done it before so I don't think it's a user error.

    Encryption Desktop suddenly doesn't seem to provide a de-cryption option. I've been getting a Bad Parameters (12000) message when I attempt to access the drive. The drive itself seems to be working fine as is the Encryption Desktop. Until I try to decrypt the drive.

    Any ideas?

    Is this client managed by a SEMS?  If so, the first step would be to check the policy assigned to you.
