    How to Prepare for the Transition:


    Transition Date: May 6, 2024

    We’re thrilled to share that the Carbon Black Community is migrating under Broadcom Communities. Set to take place on May 6, 2024.

    • Downtime: From April 19th, 7:00 AM Pacific, to May 6th, 7:00 AM Pacific, the community will be in read-only mode. During this period, you can log in but won’t be able to take any actions or interact, with the exception of your support portal to create and manage cases.

    • No Action Required: Users don’t need to create a new profile on Broadcom Communities. Your account will be automatically migrated to Broadcom/Higher Logic Community, preserving all your data, points, and badges.

    • Password Reset: On May 6th, expect an email from Broadcom Communities asking you to reset your password. Simply follow the instructions to renew your password and log in to the new platform.

    • Moderator Approval: Your initial post in the new Community will require moderator approval. Once approved, you’ll gain full access to navigate and interact within the community. This measure helps to prevent scams and fake accounts, ensuring the integrity of our environment.

    Important Reminder:

    • Inactive Accounts won’t be migrated: Accounts that haven’t been logged in to for the past two years won’t be migrated. Ensure you log in before April 19th to retain your account data.
