  • 1.  Offline Installation of ITMS and ServiceDesk

    I am trying to perform and install of ITMS and ServiceDesk in to a test environment that does not have internet access. Is there any documentation to follow for this process? I have managed to copy the Altiris folder to the VM environment but the SIM needs an internet connection.

    Hi Andrew,

    The following link will guide you in the creation of an offline installation package that you can execute on a server that does not have internet access.  Obviously the installation package will have to be created on a computer that has internet connection.   

    Creating and installing an offline installation package

    Once ITMS is installed on the target server, you can use this online version of the ServiceDesk implementation guide.  This will provide you with the instructions to download the ServiceDesk installation files from the Notification Server and place them on the ServiceDesk server to install it locally (offline).
