Can we use interface 0:0 for GUI access and interface 1:0 for Data

    Hi;

    For a reporter hardware appliance S500, can you use interface 0:0 for GUI and SSH access, while using NIC 1:0 (NIC options card) for Data (receiving access logs data from Proxy SG devices)?

    The Reporter 10.1.5 guide states on page 11 that: "Reporter supports the configuration of only one network interface card (NIC)-either 0:0 or one of the S500 option cards". Now does this statement mean that you can only use one network interface card (NIC) for Data. However, you can use a different NIC for GUI and SSH access?

    Or does it mean that you can use only one NIC no matter whether it is for Data or GUI/SSH access purposes?

    Kindly
    Wasfi

    Hi

    just one interface for both management and data, there is no way to have reporter use two interfaces and then seperate the traffic to each
