Sandboxes in Data Center Security

What do the Sandboxes do exactly and How do I use them to allow or deny certain actions ? Like file modifications or writes.

Do I also need to add trusted updater before using a Sandbox to allow file writes, software install ?

1. The agent associates the process with a specific "Sandbox"
2. If not, then the process is associated with the main "Sandbox" of politics (Basic or Hardened)
After that, all the "Sandbox" settings: Global, Memory, Network, Process Access, File Access, Register Access (Full, Red Only, Deny) affect the process.
