Try to restart the client and check update or not ?
Upgrade clients to SEP 12.1 by Auto upgrade feature

Hi,
Does this means that I have to initiate mass reboot in all of the computer & server in the group so that the upgrade is working ?
You can push via auto upgrade. This will allow you to set a specific time frame.
Yes, if upgrading from 11.x to 12.1 you will need to initiate a reboot. SEP 12.1 does a side by side install where it updates what it can but still needs a reboot to finish the upgrade.
Hi Brian, I have set the setting as follows:
The Policy
and this is what I set on the SEP package:
is that the correct combination to make sure that the client is rebooted and then upgraded immediately ?
The client will need to be upgraded first, than the reboot will take place.
You also need to check the box for "Upgrade Schedule" so it is applied.
Test the setting in one client. Move the client in test group and assign the package.
Set the upgrade schedule time as per your time. Apply the policy and check the result.
If it work then assign the same ot other group.
Please Check box "Upgrade Schedule" if you want to Schedule.
Note : You must test the AutoUpgrade process before you attempt to upgrade a large number of clients in your production network. If you do not have a test network, you can create a test group. You can add a few non-critical clients to the test group and upgrade them by using AutoUpgrade. You can confirm the upgrade completed successfully by verifying the version number of the client software that appears in the About dialog box
yes that does seems to work Ashish !
so at the moment it is unchecked hence the client gets updated directly.
