First, can you try restarting the database service. From the command line logged in with the admin user, run "service mysql restart".
(If that doesn't work, post back the error.)
Then try logging in again.

When we login to Symantec messaging Gateway, we get the error : The Control Center is unable to connect to the database. Either the database is not running or the password for brightmailuser is incorrect.
Its running in Linux OS. Can you please let me know what can be done to fix this issue.
