Hi,
We're an email provider and recently we had to renumber our email servers. The new networks we're using are
- 82.118.243.168/29
- 2a01:8740:ffff:ffdc:0:0:0:0/64
Since our migration some customers are complaining they cannot send emails to specific domains, and after investigation we found out that those recipient domains are using SMG. We've checked in
https://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup and our main outgoing address
82.118.243.170 is listed with "negative reputation" with reasons:
- The host has been observed sending spam in a format that is similar to snow shoe spamming techniques.
- The host is unauthorized to send email directly to email servers.
We've requested delist of the IP, it was delisted, and problem with our outgoing mails was resolved. However after a day or two the IP is listed again.
We've been through this five times already, and it is getting ridiculous. I'd like to know what is the reason for this listing.
Note, that this address is neither listed in any ****
https://multirbl.valli.org/lookup/82.118.243.170.html nor it is sending any spam.
regards,
