  • 1.  90% inbound and outbound email classified as SPAM

    Dear all,

    since yesterday at 10:17 CEST (Italy) almost all inbound and outbound emails are classified as SPAM.
    Could be a problem with released spam definition?

    Did you open a ticket?  If so what was the response like?   If not please let us know how that goes.

    yes, I have an open support ticket 31811965, 16-March-2020 06:13:49 without answers.
    Environment: Symantec Messaging Gateway Virtual Appliance 10.7.1-6

    Hi Alan,

    I found that disabling everything in "Enable OUTBOUND spam and unwanted email scanning for this policy group" and "Enable bounce attack prevention for this policy group" now outbound and inbound emails flow correctly (this configuration works correctly for years).
    Anyway, we are migrating to Office 365 in a month, so at the moment it's a good workaround and I don't want to waste time investigating the problem.
