  • 1.  Active Directory Authentication stops working

    in our production 1.4 ICDx environment, we are no longer able to login using AD credentials.  The last time we could login successfully was over two weeks ago.  We have checked all of the settings and event reset the password on the service account.  We have disabled / enabled AD but nothing is resolving the issue.

    Is anyone else experiencing this issues?  I seem to remember with a previous version there were issues logging in after installing, but I believe it had to do with the local account.

    Any idea on how to fix?

    Hi Mike,
    do you still have the LDAP issue? Can you upload the /var/log/symantec/incdx/id_epmp_dx.log file?

    Yes, we are still experiencing the issue.  I opened a support ticket and we have gotten absolutely no where.  Attached is the log file.

    Can you try the name only? For example: mikefefferman instead of nbnco\mikefefferman?

    Hi Roumen--

    That worked.  We are able to login without specifying the domain.  Any idea what could have changed?  We have always had to put the domain first before the username.

    Hi Mike,
    I don't think anything has changed in ICDx. Take a look at the log file, which you sent to me, and you'll see that you and other people used to login without the domain, and then switched to use the domain name. I guess based on some old habits ...
