    Hi,

I have created a check to verify the content of the /etc/passwd file on Unix machine, but getting an error as "Bocked file" in the data collection.

Also I have found a below message in workerprocess logs:

"/etc/passwd" is secure file. Cannot display it's content.

I am able to read the content of the file by logging on the server but getting an error while fetching the content throgh CCS.

Note: I have observed this issue on RHEL and Oracle Enterprise linux macine. Also I hv used root and root equivalent id for data collection.

Is this a known issue? and what is a solution for this.

    Thanks.

    Hi Vishva,

Access to this file is blocked in the default configuration, you can find instructions in Tech Note 188817 on how to unlock it and allow data collection.

    Best regards,

    Marc
