    HI Experts,
When is 8.6 RU3 ETA release ? also i've heard it will finally support x64 Linux, so:
Do we know what will 8.6 RU3 Linux x64 PXE support kernel version will be, and is it possible to upgrade?
I see that in 8.6 RU1 currently only x86 is being supported, and with kernel 4.19 (which is extremely outdated):

we find that many LAN adapters (USB-C Type) are not able to obtain IPs and get this error from PXE: My IP is 0.0.0.0., also a lot of vendors now have stopped supporting legacy x86 network boot, so this is really required not only to be x64 supporting, but also upgradeable and modified to update kernel so it will keep up with latest vendors release all the time.

    More info:
Weird thing is, that target already obtained IP to start the PXE process (i see a preboot list option), so how can it fail getting the same IP it received 2 seconds prior to that?

    Tnx,
    Hagai

Likely sometime shortly after mid year.  However. dates and scope of releases are always subject to change.

Hi Experts, still waiting for an answer regarding the 0.0.0.0 "no valid IP found" issue (even though is it continuing).

but further more, i would like to ask if anyone can please point me to the location of the "miniOS Debian 4.19 kernel" folder?

i wish to test something and boot it up on an external disk (not ram disk) , so i require to extract it into an ISO and boot from it.

could you please let me know which is the original folder? is it the content of the LinPE "preboot"?
    - couldn't locate them on NS or PXE servers.
    or someplace else?

    tnx,
    Hagai

    Hi Experts,
no reply so far from anyone?
how is the PreBoot suppose to support 11th gen devices, that have only UEFI boot, and they are linux type OS deployment required?
how are you providing a deployment solution for them?

if it's a kernel problem, what is the procedure to upgrade the kernel 4.19 to support newer brand and models?

    tnx,
    Hagai

experts? any suggestions to this issue presented above in case? will 8.6 RU3 resolve it this?

also, is there an already known expected date for 8.6 RU3 release?
heard somewhere around July, any specific date already?

    tnx,
    Hagai
