File Inventory for / of software resource

​I have gone rusty and / or old.

I am creating a new software package for a new version of a product that I have created for in the past. It is an MSI.
I go to
Manage / Software
Click on "+ Add Software"
Select "Import Package" specific MSI file and go from there.

Name, version and Command Lines options are automatically created.

However, when I "Edit Software Resource" and go to "File Inventory" the list is blank, unlike it is for the previous versions (screen shot attached). Anyone know why?

File inventory is populated during the Software Inventory (Software Scan) task/policy execution on agent side. At the moment  of MSI import into the Software Catalog files are not  populated.
