For Noteplad++, shouldn't the old versions be cleaning themselves up?  Seems like with each recent update I just keep getting new bulletins and nothing gets removed like on my other titles.

    See screenshot and thanks

    Hi Amanda,

for Notepad++ the supersedence is defined within the minor versions but doesn's cross their boundaries (so x.y.z superseds x.y.z-1 but doesn't supersede x.y-1.z)

    In your example:
    NPP-220426 is 8.4.0.0
    NPP-220215 is 8.3.1
    NPP-220124 is 8.2.1.0
    NPP-210927 is 8.1.5

    Thanks,
    Dmitri.

Thanks, but, followup, if I'm on 8.4.0.0... i'm still applicable and installed for 8.3.1?  I'd guess once I fell into 8.4.0.0 my applicability for others woulda fallen out of scope

    Hi Amanda,

older updates would be still listed in the compliance reports.
Usually you don't see them as you use "Some updates not superseded" option in report options and for many vendors supersedence is established across the entire chain of updates. Notepad++ is a bit different in this sense.

    Thanks,
    Dmitri.
