We are encrypting servers using Symantec and when restoring from shadowprotect backups we have to decrypt the entire set of drives before we can restore the server.
Symantec has been no help so far, has anyone ran into this or have a better process?
Right now we are looking at 5-6 hours per TB for our encrypted servers running in VMware.
This has happened to use twice in two years and Symantec has blamed “windows” but this issue hasn’t happened to non encrypted servers.
Please help?
