  • 1.  Report informing who installed an Update if it was the user or if it was the Altiris

    I need to know who installed a particular Update if it was by Patch Management or if it was installed by the user and / or by another tool.
    Is it possible to have this information?

    You could check the 'Source' column from "Inv_InstalledSoftware"

    SELECT * FROM Inv_InstalledSoftware

    1 – Msi scanner
    2 – Inventory rule
    4 – File list
    8 – Add Remove programs entry
    16 – Patch
    32 – Server
    64 – “Software Catalog Data Provider” using the rules provided by PC-Ware

    Hi CleuberPires,

    You could check for a file on the client PC located in: <Install Drive>\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Agents\PatchMgmtAgent\InstallLog.csv.
    If the patch was installed using Patch Management - Patch Management will add a line into this file...

    There is also a report available in the SMP Console -> Home -> Patch Management ->Delivery Summary
