    Hello,

We have installed JIRA software that is accessed through a Blue Coat reverse proxy. We access correctly with Chrome, but if we access with IE11 or Mozilla Firefox, the pop-ups aren't showed. When tracing the HTTP requests that are sent, we see that it returns a 403 error when the request tries to recover the page's resources.

Do you know what should be changed in the configuration to ensure that this doesn't happen?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Eduardo,

The requests via browser or the way the website is designed to work with each browser could be causing  the issue. Better to look at the policy trace to see what request is getting blocked and why? Maybe the policy is not sufficent to cover the entire requests. If you can share a policy trace for the IE or FF access, I can help in checking the same.

Hi Aravind, what is the policy trace? bluecoat policy trace? The Jira website is working correctly without accessing through a Blue Coat reverse proxy. We installed it in local and it works OK with all browsers and we installed it in our organization net(without proxy) and it works correctly too. We only have problems through Blue Coat reverse proxy accessing with IE11 or Mozilla Firefox. Only Chrome allows us to use some buttons of the website like "Create Tickets" and others but we need to use the Internet explorer 11 because it is the official browser in our company :-( do you know other solution?

    Thank you very much,

    Best regards

    Hi Eduardo,

Yes, Trace means Bluecoat Policy trace. Looking at this will tell us the rule which are matched for each requests and will also tell the reason for denial. I am assuming that collecting a trace would be difficult for you. If that is the case, requesting you to contact support who can take webex and check/fix this for you.
