  • 1.  An unexpected error on barcode reader

    I installed Barcode Solution 7.5 on a SOMO 655 and when I attempt to browse for an asset I get the following error:

    "..An unexpected error has occured in Barcode.exe. Select quit and then restart this program, or Select Details for more information"

    The enviornment is ITMS 7.6 and the Barcode Manager is installed on a Windows 8.1 VM.

    Has anyone else encountered this error before?

    I don't think Barcode 7.5 will work with ITMS 7.6.

    I have Barcode Essentials 7.6 installed on the server and I used the 7.5 installer for the windows mobile device.

    Have you been able to sync the device successfully?  If it's browsing for an asset, the asset would need to be contained in the data on the device.
