So not sure if this is due to the way we have things configured or what, or if based on our configuration there is something different I can do with a job.
We have a 1x2 heirarchy and all clients are managed by the 2 children. The parent is for ease of management as well as the parent has Asset installed. the 2 children only have CMS installed.
I have the purge policy set to auto reitre assets after 30 days. On the children what I am seeing is the asset health showing "untracked" once they surpass 30 days, on the parent they just show in a needs attention state.
Is there anything I can add to replication that will force the parent to know to retire them, or do I need asset installed on the children for this to work properly? If so is there a job I can have schedule to run or create that would essentially look at something in the database that shows no communication in 30+ days and mark them as retired?
Thanks for any help
