    Hi,

Please give me some possible solutions.

I am struggling with installing a Symantec DLP Enforce Server. Please check the attachment.

    ---INFO---

OS: Windows Server 2016 Standard 64-bit

CPU: INTEL XEON CPU E5645 2.40GHz

    RAM: 32GB

    Installation plan: 2-tier  (Oracle+Enforce  /  Detection)

    Installation Location: D drive (1TB)

Oracle and JRE Server were installed successfully.

I want to know why the privilege issue is happened though I am installing with Administrator account.

    Regards,

    Hi,

I forgot to mention which version I am trying to install.

    I am installing 15.5 Symantec DLP .

    (Successfully installed 12.2.0.1 Oracle DB)

Have you tried to run the installer with elevated rights? Ie. Run as Administrator?

Also make sure any AV installed is disabled during the install.

    Hi ,

Of course, I tried 'run as Administrator' but failed.

I tried installing in C drive for test, and it was succeeded. What I think is the privilege is different between C and D drive.

I checked the privileges for both, and the differences are:

     -CREATOR OWNER

     -USERS

Those above are listed only in C drive.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

Add those accounts onto the D:\ drive and try again. Otherwise format the D:\ drive if it contains no information, and then let it recreate everything.
