    Hello Sir

    I am migrating from SAV to SEP and get the error "Failed to contact or import data from <primary name="" server="">server</primary>"

    Please help.

    When i am trying to o migrate settings from the SAV  server using the Migration And Deployment Wizard

    I tried this To verify the PKI structure on the primary server, follow the steps in this document: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2005072609402748

    I also restarted the server, still no go.
    It has all the files mentioned in the KB

    i have do a new install I will loose all my settings. So i don't want to do the fresh install

    Name resolution between the Primary Symantec AntiVirus server and Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) works
    The Remote Registry on the Primary Symantec AntiVirus server can be accessed from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
    The C$ and Admin$ shares on the Primary Symantec AntiVirus server can be accessed from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
