You would go to Monitors > Logs > Risk Log in the SEPM.
Find the detection. Then select to exclude it.

Hello:
I have a client that needs to compile C/Cpp project with Microsoft Visual Studio. When the compiling is done and the .exe is created, Symantec detects the executable as a heuristic virus and deletes them. It is only a "Hello World" program, see attachment. What would be our best practice to have these compiled exes not be blocked.
