  • 1.  SEP virus definition update

    Hello,

    We have some laptop with managed SEP taking virus definition from SEPM, some of them not connect to network more then 10 days, so i need make policy if not connect to sepm for 2 or 3 days taking the update from internet.
    How to make it?

    You can create 2 locations - 1 called for example "Office" and another called "Out of Office" (or whatever you want to name it).
    For the Office location set the LiveUpdate policy to update only from the management server and for the "Out of Office" set the LU policy to update from Symantec LU servers on Internet.
    As a conditions for the locations you can use connection to the management servers, DNS lookups, IP addresses etc:
