We have both Symantec Endpoint Protection and Tenable Nessus Pro on a laptop that we use to perform vulnerability scan of several isolated systems, so we are always changing the laptop's IP address on its NIC
.
How can I add Nessus Vulnerability scanner as an exception to SEP so my security scans are not hindered by SEP without changing the whitelisted IP in SEP every time I change it on the NIC? Also, these scans are NOT authenticated scans so the article on that does not apply to this. Thank you in advance.
PS I did try disabling SEP in the taskbar, but it was still popping up the whole time which is why I am asking.
